What features does the Scooterpac Cabin Car have?
The defining feature of this scooter is that the user is completely protected from outside elements, with a fully-insulated fibreglass shell canopy, windows and doors not dissimilar to a car! You can choose from a range of different colours, from ice blue to cherry red, high gloss black to glacier white and more – whatever suits you and your style.
The safety features of the Cabin Car are the best on the market and go one step further than other options on the market. For example, the ‘follow me home’ headlights mean that, once you get out and locks the doors, the headlights remain lit for a short while, providing a lit track or path. Plus, you can protect your Cabin Car by adding a high-volume alarm should it ever be tampered with.

The short answer is yes, the Cabin Car is easy to drive. It is not dissimilar to operating a standard mobility scooter, with thumb controls and easy-to use steering handlebars. You can adjust your speed, which is clearly displayed on the digital dashboard and even park without hassle by using the reversing camera.
Do you need a driving licence to drive a Cabin Car?
No, you do not need a driving licence to drive the Scooterpac Cabin Car. Mobility scooters are not legally defined as vehicles, and The Cabin Car is not subject to Vehicle Excise Duty (‘road tax’). However, all new and used Class 3 vehicles including the Cabin Car must be registered with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), but don’t worry this is something we will happily take care of for you here at Countrywide Mobility.
